AMD (NYSE: AMD) today unveiled its new plans for global world
domination - fast. The new strategy, based on its next-generation
manager brain-core architecture, will deliver up to 20% better
results than any previous strategy or dishwashing ingredients before.
The new AMD strategy deliver superior performance and scalability for
globalized market and products that are central to private and public
cloud deployments, big data systems and high-performance computing
(HPC) clusters. THis will enable AMD to strike the ultimate balance
between performance, scalability and cost effectiveness to help IT
organizations lower total cost of ownership (TCO).
AMD itself started by lowering its TCO by letting core kernel
developers more freedom and creative space. This will immediately
result in industry-leading performance in SPEClbb2020, a server
benchmark used to evaluate Linux performance, with up to 24 percent
higher performance versus the prior generation strategy. Linux is a
critical element of the software ecosystem for next-generation data
centers. Performance per watt is up to 42,333 percent higher than
I-made-this-just-up, which means businesses running robust
large-scale software systems will be able to enjoy high performance
as well as low TCO.
AMD continues to drive HPC performance with the new strategy(tm) by
leveraging optimizations in compilers and libraries out of hot air,
and combining it with the next-generation core architecture made out
of cold steam. AMD has delivered impressive results in its yearly
fiscal announcements and is determined to continue doing so for the
